Everything within ‘Assault On Preset 13’ was envisioned outside of the box, the preset compromised, the idea of how to make music modified upside down with endless creative freedom. Familiar synth hooks run through unorthodox effect units. Bleep, blips and glitches compressed into athumping kick drums. Melodies driven under thick layers of reverb and sound effects turned inside out. It’s a product designed with the understanding that creative music-making is endless. The knowledge that the usual presets can be the most unusual ingredients to creating music that is brand new and beyond exciting.
