Flutes are the earliest known instruments, dating back to prehistoric man, and have lately gained popularity as a left-field lead sound found in modern trap, rap and hip-hop production. Discover an exploration of contemporary melodies, soulful funk rhythms and classic emotive compositions.
Featuring live recording of everything from a shaman wood flute, ocarinas, and the standard plastic school recorder to experimental sound design with physical modelling of synthetic woodwind, mellotrons, jazz flutes and less common digital recreations. Simple catchy solo melodies meet full melodic stacks, resampled and pitched trills and full blown epic flute swells. The songstarter collection offers complex inspiration and the chopped, lofi and re-processed ‘slomo’ loops dive into future-focused textures and layers. Distinctive one shots including single notes, short phrases and fx can add life to a track as top layer sparkle or be imported and played by your sampler of choice. Created and sound designed by Yvng Face and the Capsun ProAudio team.
Plus we’ve added a selection of melodic layers, keys and bell loops, dark chopped pianos and more. Every loop has been meticulously key-tagged and tempo-synced.
